Fast Break is an accelerated learning program that has proven very cost-effective in helping out-of-school youth transition to work or college. Although the program has not been tested for in-school youth, most participants say they wish they had this program in high school. We hypothesize that the program would significantly help your students achieve, stay in school, and reduce their need for remediation later on. Perhaps your district would like to be among those to test this hypothesis.

Well written! Thoughtful! One of the most important ideas to me is that of team teaching, getting to know the students, and smiling and using the student's name. This leads us to the effectiveness of modeling; so many of our city students need good role models. Many of their lives are filled with poor role models and trauma. And if the teachers are proficient in what they are teaching, they also model excellence!
