Fast Break Accelerated Learning Program

Fast Break is an accelerated learning program that has proven very cost-effective in helping out-of-school youth transition to work or college. Although the program has not been tested for in-school youth, most participants say they wish they had this program in high school. This leads us to the effectiveness of modeling; so many of our city students need good role models. Many of their lives are filled with poor role models and trauma. And if the teachers are proficient in what they are teaching, they also model excellence!

Barry Stern is definitely headed in the right direction!
